MARKS SECOND DIAMOND SINGLE FOR DIPLO FOLLOWING MAJOR LAZER’S “LEAN ON”
CONTINUES A LANDMARK YEAR WITH NEW MAJOR LAZER MIXTAPE, MASSIVE PRODUCTION PROJECTS, BUSINESS VENTURES AND MORE
December 16, 2025—Grammy-winning artist and super producer Diplo’s hit collaboration with country megastar Morgan Wallen, “Heartless,” has earned a RIAA Diamond certification. The song—created under Diplo’s country alias Thomas Wesley—is featured on the Platinum-certified album Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley, Chapter 1: Snake Oil as well as Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album.
The track marks Diplo’s second diamond single, following Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s 2015 hit “Lean On” (featuring MØ). He has numerous platinum and gold certified projects under his belt, including Jack Ü’s 6x Platinum-certified “Where Are Ü Now” (with Justin Bieber), Major Lazer’s 4x Platinum-certified “Cold Water” (featuring Justin Bieber and MØ) and 2x Platinum-certified “Light It Up,” Silk City and Dua Lipa’s 2x Platinum-certified “Electricity,” LSD’s Platinum-certified “Genius,” “Thunderclouds” and more.
The news continues another landmark year for Diplo. Last month, Major Lazer—the Diplo co-founded, genre-defying hitmakers—released their hotly-anticipated new mixtape GYALGEBRA via Mad Decent, marking the group’s first self-contained body of work in five years and the start of a bold new chapter with America Foster. Get it here. After a year of explosive pop-ups and DJ sets around the globe, Major Lazer will bring GYALGEBRA to the world live in 2026. The group is set to make their long-awaited returns to Coachella and Bonnaroo—their first appearances there in almost a decade—and headline Ultra, with more dates to be announced.
Earlier in the year, Diplo co-produced and co-wrote K-pop icon Jennie’s Gold-certified “Like Jennie” and Blackpink’s “JUMP,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard Global 200. He also recently unveiled that Diplo’s HonkyTonk, a curated stage blending electronic and country music, will return to Stagecoach 2026.
Diplo has had a triumphant year in his entrepreneurial ventures as Diplo’s Run Clubconcludes its second season with upcoming dates in Miami and Phoenix. Diplo, who runs each race in addition to DJing the party to follow, founded the Run Club to continue his commitment to leading in the wellness space. Dates across the country, including New York, Philadelphia, San Diego and more, saw over 10,000 attendees per event and featured performances from Mark Ronson, Dillon Francis, A-Trak and more.
