Songwriters & Composers Wing Reception Honoring Songwriter Of The Year Nominees

The Songwriters & Composers Wing hosted an inspiring Grammy Week gathering celebrating the craft, community, and impact of songwriting. The event spotlighted the storytellers behind the music and honored this year’s Songwriter Of The Year nominees: Amy Allen, Edgar Barrera, Jessie Jo Dillon, Laura Veltz, and Tobias Jesso Jr. Several nominees were on hand and took the stage to share personal reflections on their work

Producers & Engineers Wing Grammy Week Celebration Honoring Jimmy Douglass

The Producers & Engineers Wing honored the musical contributions of Jimmy “The Senator” Douglass, five-time Grammy-winning producer, engineer and mixer whose work with artists across genres has helped shape today’s sound. The evening also celebrated the P&E Wing’s 25th anniversary and their efforts supporting the audio community year-round. Highlights included a performance by The System and remarks from Douglass’ collaborators Danja and Timbaland, Recording Academy®  CEO Harvey Mason jr., P&E Wing Vice President Maureen Droney, and P&E Wing Steering Committee Co-Chairs Marcella Aracia and D. “Swagg” Arcelious Harris.

Grammy House: Best New Artist Spotlight

Kicking off the first day at Grammy House, nominees from the Best New Artist Category for the 2026 Grammy Awards®shared their journeys to the Grammys® and offer insights into their artistry. Five-time Grammy Award® -winning artist and former Recording Academy Board of Trustees Chair Jimmy Jam spoke with Leon Thomas, Lola Young and Olivia Dean, then Grammy-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter chatted with KATSEYE, The Marías, Alex Warren, and Sombr.

Grammy House: Women in the Mix: In Session

The celebratory afternoon honoring and amplifying the voices of women in music began with remarks from the Recording Academy’s Chief Awards & Global Industry Officer Ruby Marchand and Nikisha Bailey, followed by a keynote speech by Paula Kaminsky. The event continued with a live performance from Grammy nominee Maggie Rose, with special guest and fellow Grammy nominee Grace Potter, concluding with a panel with Ethiopia Habtemariam, Grace Potter, INK, Maggie Rose, and Paula Kaminsky, moderated by Nikisha Bailey.

Grammy House: A Celebration of Black Creators

The next wave of Black creators, talent and professionals gathered at Grammy House for this celebration presented by the Black Music Collective. Highlights include a spoken word performance from Black Music Collective co-chair and Grammy Award-winning poet J. Ivy; remarks from fellow co-chair, artist and songwriter Torae Carr and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr.; a performance by Chair of the Board of Trustees Dr. Chelsey Green with Jeremy Green; and a Jam Session hosted by Stevie Mackey, featuring Grammy nominee Durand Bernarr, Teedra Moses and Desz.
