Q: What first inspired this?
While we tried to grow our TikTok accounts at the beginning of 2020, we realised the lack of creator tools. There were no easy-to-use insights or analytics for creators from their TikTok accounts. There was, and still is, TikTok’s analytics section, but we felt it was pretty limited and not as comprehensive as we wanted it to be. During these two years of building the tool, we realised that creators are not the only ones in trouble. Also, many companies struggle to get deeper insights from their TikTok performance, which we wanted to fix. The last December, we launched our B2B toolkit, targeted at brands and media agencies.
Q: With Exolyt, what does your TikTok analytics offer that TikTok does not?
With our tool, companies can get actionable insights that help their marketing and product development. For example, they can predict the customer demand for different products based on the data from TikTok and other social media platforms. In addition, they can track their social media performance, monitor their competition and conduct semantic social listening. Theoretically, the performance numbers and social listening could be derived just using the TikTok app. Still, it would take hours and hours of manual work, which we have automated.
Q: Can it work yet with anything beyond TikTok?
Yes! We just launched the first version of our YouTube toolkit last week, and we plan to expand into all the major social media platforms this year.
Q: What does this do beyond “likes” to help them realize what really works?
Our toolkit is not limited to only examining the raw “like” numbers of videos or hashtags used. In addition, we can analyse the video footage with machine learning and tell our users what things in their videos correlate with high performance. Also, we help them by revealing the social media trends within their industry, such as the beauty or gaming industry.
Q: What makes it better than what exists?
We feel that our solution is genuinely the most comprehensive and diverse toolkit available. It works from creators who have just started to global companies with 9-digit revenue.
Q: What is the main favorite feature that customers get excited about?
Our clients’ jaws drop when they see how much information they can have on their accounts and how much time we can save. Especially the social listening feature is very much appreciated, as it allows brands to see what people actually talk about them.
