He has not only emerged as one of the most applauded rappers of this century, but he also appeared in the Academy® Award-winning film Distant Strangers. Following his seminal 1999mixtape in 2012, he notched back-to-back Top 5 debuts on the Billboard 200 with B4.Da.$$ [2015] and All-Amerikkkan Bada$$ [2017]. Meanwhile, 2022’s 2000 crashed the Top 25. His catalog has yielded the double-platinum “Devastated,” gold-selling “Love Is A Feeling,” and “Temptation,” to name a few. Simultaneously, he emerged as a bona fide presence across film and television with credits ranging from roles on Mr. Robot and Wu-Tang: An American Saga, to a showstopping turn on Power Book III: Raising Kanan. He even leveled up to the top of the film world with an Academy® Award for starring in the 2020 short film Distant Strangers. Not to mention, Joey notably joined forces between Pro Era, Flatbush Zombies, and The Underachievers for the 2019 blockbuster collaboration, Escape From New York, and its subsequent tour.
