February 13, 2026 – Rising Katy, Texas singer-songwriter Blessing Jolie today releases her new single, “Software Developer,” out now via Thirty Tigers/RCA—listen/share HERE. The track is the third taken from her forthcoming, highly anticipated debut album, 20nothing, which lands March 13 – presave/preorder HERE. This week, Blessing was named to the NME 100 list, highlighting the most essential emerging artists to watch for the year.
The announcement follows the release of the full-length video for her breakout single “20teens,” which drew support from Tyler, The Creator, Kehlani, Alemeda, Caleb Hearon, and more- watch here. The song is currently in rotation on SiriusXM Alt Nation, WXPN, KEXP and Radio Milwaukee, and is heavily playlisted across Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and more streaming services.
Blessing has also just confirmed she will open for Alemeda on her Atlanta tour date at Vinyl at Center Stage on February 18—tickets are available now here.
On “Software Developer”, Blessing shares, “I watched all my old friends graduate college while I was still chasing a dream. I wondered who I would’ve been if I took the same four-year route but I’m learning to stand by myself through clarity, mistakes, and every detour. My life is mine to build and experiment with however my heart leads.”
20nothing offers an unfiltered glimpse into the highs and lows of growing up, capturing Blessing’s experience in her early twenties—themes of heartbreak, self-discovery and moving away from old versions of yourself all appear through her sharp, punchy songwriting. Blessing pairs her signature, impressive voice with a sonically fresh approach to genre-blending arrangements that display her distinct influences, ranging from Destiny’s Child to Limp Bizkit.
“20nothing is about growth – I think those early twenties growing pains stick a little more,” Blessing says on the inspiration behind the album. “I’ve been blessed enough to experience more things, whether they’ve brought joy or hurt. They only provide more context and more wisdom. Through heartbreak and confusion, I always come back with, ‘I needed that to gain this.’”

Raised in Katy, TX, Nigerian American 24-year-old Blessing began sharing guitar and singing videos online—her performances drew sizable buzz, as well as the support of Thirty Tigers, who signed on following the release of her debut EP the girl next door.
