May 12, 2026 — Miami, FL — Multi-diamond Mexican superstar Carín León continues adding to his record-breaking career: MUDA, his latest studio album, debuted at #6 on both Spotify’s Top Debut Albums Global and Top Debut Albums USA charts.
Released on May 7, MUDA is one of the most eclectic albums of his career, and through it, Carín continues to expand the universe he has built album by album around the mouth as a symbol: the voice, the word, the performance. Stream MUDA here.
In less than a week since its release, the album has surpassed 10 million streams on Spotify, with tracks like “Ruca” and “La Buena” leading the charge.
With MUDA, Carín transcends the boundaries of Contemporary Mexican Music and expands his musical palette with genres including pop, big band, ska, blues, salsa, funk, and traditional Mexican music, delivering one of the boldest bodies of work of his career.
The album arrives on the heels of his upcoming tour, Tour Norteamérica 2026, which takes him through iconic venues like Madison Square Garden in Nueva York, BMO Stadium in Los Ángeles, Nu Stadium in Miami and Sphere in Vegas.
The tour, presented by AEG Presents, kicks off on May 20 in Hidalgo, Texas, where the multiple Latin GRAMMY® and GRAMMY® winner will perform two nights at Payne Arena, and wraps on October 9 in Portland, Oregon.
The run will also take him to Japan, where in August he will make history as the first Mexican artist to headline a music festival in the country’s capital, Tokyo.
The global ambassador of Mexican music will bring his award-winning repertoire to the Summer Sonic Festival 2026 in Osaka and Tokyo, and in the latter, the singer serves as the official curator of the Beach Stage — inviting the artists who are bringing the sound of Mexico to new audiences: LATIN MAFIA and 2025 Latin GRAMMY® Best New Artist winner Paloma Morphy.
