JOY RIDE Director Adele Lim and writers Teresa Hsiao and Cherry Chevapravatdumrong along with Seth Rogen’s Point Grey company were all in attendance alongside other notable guests. Some of the film’s press champions, industry friends, influencers and fans of comedy all came out to have a hilariously good time.
Charitable donations were made towards API EQUALITY-LA, a local non-profit that is focused on empowering Asian & Pacific Islander communities to achieve LGBTQ, racial, and social justice and create an inclusive, equitable, and just society where all API LGBTQ people can thrive.
Guests in attendance enjoyed catering from Jollibee, custom cocktails inspired by the film’s characters, Yogurtland frozen yogurt cups and an immersive JOY RIDE themed photo booth. And event partner Bumble BFF, in partnership with Asian American Girl Club, held a social contest for two BFFs to attend the comedy event!
