It was a special one-night-only celebration for Women Talking: An Evening of Wild Female Imagination at Audible’s off-Broadway Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City on Monday, January 9th
The theatrical event, in partnership with MGM’s Orion Pictures and Audible Theater, featured WOMEN TALKING screenwriter-director Sarah Polley and cast Jessie Buckley, Sheila McCarthy, Michelle McLeod, August Winter, and Kate Hallett with three new works showcased that were inspired by the film.
New film-inspired pieces for the event were written by playwrights Sandra Delgado, Ruth Tang and Brittany Allen. The evening also featured a conversation with Sarah Polley and the playwrights, led by Tony Award nominee and Pulitzer Prize finalist Heidi Schreck, with Zoe Chao and two-time Tony nominee Eva Noblezada also a part of the dynamic program.
