Oscars Governors Ball Returns for 67th Year Following the 98th Academy Awards

The Academy’s official post-Oscars celebration will once again bring together nominees, winners, and industry leaders following the 98th Academy Awards ceremony at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles.

The Oscars Governors Ball, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ official post-Oscars celebration, returns for its 67th year following the 98th Academy Awards. The annual gathering brings together Oscar winners, nominees, filmmakers, and industry leaders for the evening’s signature after-party immediately following the ceremony.

This year’s Governors Ball will take place in the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood, located above the Dolby Theatre complex, where guests will continue the celebration after the awards presentation.

The 98th Academy Awards will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles. The ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC, streamed on Hulu, and aired in more than 200 territories worldwide.
