Before becoming a novelist, Carley was an award-winning journalist and worked as an editor at some of Canada’s top publications, including The Globe and Mail, Chatelaine, Toronto Life, and Refinery29 Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University. Amy B. Harris, who was the executive producer and showrunner for the Prime Video series The Wilds and has an overall deal at Amazon MGM Studios where she develops and supervises new projects across all genres, adapted and will showrun. Harris also developed and executive produced The Carrie Diaries, the prequel to Sex and the City. She previously served as a writer and producer for the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning series Sex and the City. Her credits also include The Comeback, Gossip Girl, and Designated Survivor.
