THE TRACK follows a ragtag three-man luge team of teenage friends – Mirza Nikolajev, Zlatan Jakić, and Hamza Pleho -and their wily coach, Senad Omanović, as they pursue Olympic dreams in post-war Bosnia-Herzegovina. Once home to the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Games, the city still bears the scars of war, including a full-scale luge track now bullet-riddled and covered in graffiti. With little government support, the team trains on this haunting relic while navigating mounting economic pressures and defining personal crossroads. This coming of age and underdog journey is driven by resilience, loyalty, and the conviction that history does not dictate destiny.
