November 14, 2025—Major Lazer continue their highly anticipated new chapter with a new mixtape, GYALGEBRA, out November 21 via Mad Decent. The mixtape is the group’s first with their newest member, the London multi-hyphenate America Foster, whose electric verses light up five of the mixtape’s tracks and feature on the recent single “BRUK DOWN” with iconic dancer-choreographer Parris Goebel and Toronto it-girl SadBoi, plus the focus track “PEPPA POT.” Further contributions from Dominican star Tokischa, Basshall pioneer Kybba, dancehall legends and longtime collaborators Bunji Garlin and Busy Signal and more celebrate Lazer’s Caribbean roots while pushing their sound forward. Pre-save GYALGEBRA here

The nine tracks usher in a new era for the hitmakers, as this marks their first body of work in five years. Over their nearly two-decade career, Major Lazer have pushed the boundaries of pop music, bringing the newest sounds from the Caribbean and across the globe into the fold of their multi-genre exploration. GYALGEBRA picks that mantle up with some of the group’s furthest afield sonic experiments to date, anchored by America’s magnetic verses and collaborations with OGs and new voices alike.

America was working as a security guard when she and Diplo first connected last year. After finally meeting in London last fall, she got on a plane to Diplo’s Jamaican studio and started laying down verses—within hours she was a fully-fledged member of Major Lazer. Her electrifying freestyles on Capital XTRA and Apple Music Radio have gone massively viral, becoming an official remix of Lazer’s return single “GANGSTA.”

After playing mind-blowing pop ups and DJ sets around the world this year, Lazer will take it on the road in 2026 with their long-awaited return to Coachella—their first appearance there in ten years—and a headline set at Ultra. Much more is imminent.

Founded to further Diplo’s studio experimentation and celebrate a lifelong love of Caribbean music, Major Lazer has become one of the most successful groups of all time. The global-pop kings have dominated the charts with hits including the Diamond-certified “Lean On,” 4x Platinum-certified “Cold Water” and 2x Platinum-certified “Light It Up.” Their collaborations include BeyoncéJ BalvinNicki MinajWizKidEl AlfaBurna BoyTravis ScottAriana Grande and many more. A live juggernaut, the group has blown minds on tour and at festivals around the world for more than 15 years. In 2024, Major Lazer celebrated the 15th anniversary of their seminal 2009 debut album,Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do. More from Major Lazer is imminent.
