EXTENSIVE HEADLINE TOUR UNDERWAY WITH UPCOMING STOPS IN NEW YORK, NASHVILLE
AND MORE
July 25, 2025—Snipe Hunter, the highly anticipated new thirteen-song album from Tyler Childers, is out today via Hickman Holler Records/RCA Records (stream/purchase HERE). In celebration of the release, the official music video for the album’s lead track, “Eatin’ Big Time,” is out today. Watch/share the video, directed by James Mackel (Doechii, A$AP Rocky), HERE.
Already receiving critical attention, Childers recently spoke with Marissa Moss for an in-depth profile at GQ, who calls the record “the most visionary country album of the year,” and continues, “his spiritual and artistic opus…Snipe Hunter is a wanderer’s album, a culmination of every kind of searching, playing, huntin’, and exploring that Childers has done to get to where he is now. A masterpiece that bucks genre convention and serves as a guidebook for life, full of advice and on-the-road diaries about how to survive in the wild (literally and metaphorically) and honor tradition while challenging it too.”
Produced by Rick Rubin with additional production from Childers and Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn and mixed by Shawn Everett, Snipe Hunter includes “Nose on the Grindstone,” which just achieved Childers’ best week ever at country radio with over 40 adds. With the project, Childers further establishes himself as “one of country music’s most compelling and unpredictable artists” (Associated Press), as he puts forth a collection that showcases the signature artistry he’s cultivated throughout his esteemed career, while continuing to push his own creative boundaries.
Known for his electric live shows, Childers and his band The Food Stamps—James Barker (guitar, pedal steel), Craig Burletic (bass), CJ Cain (guitars), Kory Caudill (keyboards), Rodney Elkins (drums), Matt Rowland (keyboards) and Jesse Wells (guitar, fiddle)—will tour through this fall with his extensive “Tyler Childers On The Road Tour,” which includes upcoming stops New York’s Forest Hills Stadium (two nights), Nashville’s GEODIS Park (two nights) and London’s O2 Arena among many others. See below for complete tour itinerary.
